Club Policy

Security Deposit

Upon check-in, we will require a Major Credit Card in order to take a security deposit of $350.00.  This is a pre-authorization and not a charge, and therefore does not need to be credited back at the end of your stay.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card information over the phone for a security deposit.

After Hours Check-In

If arriving at the resort outside of Front Desk hours, please inform the front desk prior to your arrival.  Once you arrive in Whistler, please dial the Front Desk number from the phone located at the front door and our after-hours answering service will call a Security Guard to come and check you in.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the suites or in any common area of the property.  A $500 Hypo-Allergenic Cleaning Fee will be applied if any violation of this policy is determined.

Pet Policy

Whistler Vacation Club is a pet-free resort.  Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property.  There are pet hotels in both Squamish and Pemberton if you cannot find a boarding kennel close to home.  Please inquire at the Front Desk for details. A $500 fine will apply should a pet be taken into the unit without permission.

Rules & Regulations on Working Dogs

Whistler Vacation Club members are able to have their certified guide dog or service dog on the premises, regardless of strata bylaws or tenancy agreements banning or limiting pets. However, rental terms and strata bylaws that prohibit or restrict pets will still apply to the certified dogs in training. A dog must be fully certified as a guide dog or service dog in order to be on the premises.

Service dogs differ from emotional support animals because they receive special training in order to perform specific tasks to support people with disabilities. Given their different purpose and training requirements, emotional support animals do not hold the same certifications or status as service dogs.

Therapy and emotional support animals, including dogs, are not eligible for certification.

A hypo-Allergenic Cleaning Fee of $250 will be applied to any member with a certified guide dog or service dog.
